Sandy is a warm and relational counselor who sees this work as part of God’s calling for this season of her life. She believes healing often begins the moment someone feels truly seen, and she counts it a privilege to sit with clients in their most honest and vulnerable moments. Clients describe her as inviting, fully present, and their biggest cheerleader — someone who celebrates every inch of growth while also offering direct, grounded guidance when needed.

Sandy works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, addictions, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and the unique challenges of chronic illness. Her therapeutic approach is always individualized to each client’s unique needs. She draws from IFS, ACT, SFBT, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, and gratitude‑based practices, using curiosity and collaboration to help clients build capacity and discover insight, resilience, and hope. What lights her up in session is witnessing those “it finally clicks” moments — the quiet but powerful shifts where healing begins to take root.

Faith is an important part of Sandy’s identity. She sees it as a tapestry woven through daily life — small threads of grace, mercy, and strength that create something beautiful over time. When clients desire it, she thoughtfully incorporates Christian perspectives into the counseling process, offering a space where spiritual and emotional growth can work together.

Sandy earned her Master of Science in Professional Counseling and her Christian Counseling Certificate from Concordia University Wisconsin. She completed her internship at Cornerstone University and brings experience from school, ministry, and community settings, supporting individuals and couples through both everyday stressors, large life events, and deeply rooted pain.

Outside the counseling room, Sandy enjoys reading novels, crafting, fishing, gardening, nightly walks, listening to music, loving on her rescue dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. She brings the same warmth, creativity, and grounded presence to her personal life that she offers in her work with clients.
