Haley is a Limited Licensed Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cornerstone University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University. Her background in both counseling and nutrition has given her a deep appreciation for the connection between mind, body, and spirit, shaping her holistic approach to emotional and mental wellness.
Haley is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, difficult seasons, and transitions. She believes that healing involves more than simply managing symptoms, it is about discovering hope, building resilience, developing healthy relationships, and finding purpose even in life’s most challenging circumstances.
Having experienced the loss of her father during childhood, Haley understands on a personal level how grief and loss can shape an individual’s life. She recognizes that grief is not always a straightforward journey and that losing someone we love can affect our emotions, relationships, identity, and sense of security. Her personal experience has given her a special compassion for individuals navigating the death of a loved one, particularly children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing significant loss.
Haley also understands the unique challenges and opportunities that come with blended families. After her mother remarried, she experienced firsthand the adjustments involved in navigating new family relationships and dynamics. These experiences have given her a personal appreciation for the complexities of blended family life, including changing family roles, navigating relationships, and finding a sense of belonging.
Haley enjoys working with teen girls ages 13 and older, young women, and adults, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, friendships, family relationships, trauma, and life transitions. She understands that the teenage and young adult years can bring unique emotional and relational challenges, and she strives to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow in confidence and discover their strengths.
Throughout her education and clinical training, Haley has developed skills in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, mindfulness, and relational techniques. She also has multiple years of experience supporting individuals impacted by sexual abuse and sex trafficking through her work in an emergency hotline setting, an area of care about which she is particularly passionate.
Faith is an important foundation in Haley’s life and counseling approach. She values the integration of Christian principles and biblical truth into the therapeutic process while meeting each client wherever they may be in their personal faith journey. She believes the hope found in the gospel can be a powerful source of encouragement, restoration, and healing.
Above all, Haley desires to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where individuals can share their stories, process difficult emotions, and discover their God-given worth. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Outside of counseling, Haley enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being outdoors, traveling, and staying active. She especially enjoys long walks and spending quality time with her family.
