Becca is a Licensed Professional Counselor who obtained her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University where she developed a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and the integration of Christian faith into the counseling process. She is passionate about walking along side others in all seasons of life and values coming beside individuals in a relational manner while they repair emotional wounds, restore damaged relationships, seek healing, and strive toward developing a greater sense of wholeness. Becca is deeply committed to fostering a supportive environment for her clients, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique. By creating a safe space for her clients, she encourages them to confront their challenges and walks with them as they work toward personal growth, wholeness, and healing. 

As a devoted follower of Christ, Becca’s faith plays a significant role in her counseling philosophy. She firmly believes in the hope that can be found through Jesus and asserts that understanding one’s identity through the lens of Christ can lead to furthered hope, healing, and sense of purpose. She believes that including Christ and Scripture in the journey of counseling can provide hope, peace, and wisdom. Becca is sensitive to the diverse beliefs and values of her clients, ensuring that her approach is respectful and meets their individual needs. 

Becca enjoys working with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents,  which allows her to address a wide range of issues and challenges. She often employs a cognitive behavioral approach in her practice utilizing evidence-based techniques to help clients identify, challenge, and change negative core beliefs, faulty thought patterns, and behaviors. She is also an EMDR trained clinician and utilizes this form of therapy as a tool to assist clients as they identify and change core negative beliefs they have developed throughout their life that may stem from trauma or past difficult or painful situations. 

She has experience working with clients with relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress occurring during life transitions.

Our office is in-network with a wide variety of insurances including but not limited to: Aetna, ASR, Physicians Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Cofinity, Priority Health, Tri-Care, Optum, and United Health.  We are also in-network with many Medicare and Medicaid plans.  Please note: individual therapists may not be in-network with the same insurance carriers as our office.

Where is your office located?

Our office is conveniently located in the Image Building on 28th Street just a short distance off of the I-96 expressway. Take I-96 to the East 28th Street exit; go straight for just a few short blocks to Kraft Avenue, the office is located on the southeast corner of 28th Street and Kraft Avenue.  We are the business building located directly behind the Panera Beard restaurant on the corner of 28th Street and Kraft Avenue.

Cash, Check, Master Card, Visa, and Discover credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment in full is due at time of visit.

Yes, we are in-network for the following insurances:  Aetna, ASR Physicians Care, Cofinity, BCBS, Blue Care Network, Priority Health, McLaren Health Plan, Medicare, TriCare, and United Healthcare/Optum.

We also accept the following three Employee Assistance Programs (EAP):  Charles Nechtem, ComPsych, and Optum.
