Welcome to C.O.R.E.!

C.O.R.E. is a part of Centennial Park Counseling and stands for Center of Recovery Expertise. The clinicians who practice under C.O.R.E. all have specific certifications for Substance Abuse (CAADC) and/or Behavioral Addictions such as gambling and sex addiction (CSAT). If they do not already have the certification, they are in process of obtaining it. Trauma expertise training is included in the CSAT training as this certification comes from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). In addition to those, EMDR is offered depending on the clinician.

At Centennial Park Counseling, we believe you should expect to receive the most up to date and best practice treatment possible. Those who are part of Center of Recovery Expertise practice to highest standards and knowledge in the area(s) in which they are certified. There are currently three clinicians who are practicing with certifications in the areas mentioned above. They are David UitdeFlesch LLP, CAADC, CSAT candidate (mod 3 of 4), Alaina Smith LPC, CAADC, CSAT candidate (mod 1), and Alex Thompson LMSW, CAADC.
